Cerdeimar took part in Coruña Exporpymes
Promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of A Coruña, the High Council of Spanish Chambers and the City Council, this exporting day, celebrated on October 8 in ExpoCoruña trade fair, relied on the participation of 150 Galician SMEs of different sectors, between them Group Cerdeimar, and 90 importers and distributors of thirteen countries.
The appointment assembled importers, entrepreneurs with international vocation and exporting companies of construction, jewelry, machinery, consultancy, food and drinks ―that had a space of degustation and tasting―; and, also, professionals and experts in exterior trade and implied institutions, which informed the interested participants about the details of each of the markets. The aim of the organizers is to convert A Coruña Exporpymes into an annual appointment.
In the few hours that lasted the meeting, the participating companies had an average of twenty minutes to present their products to each potential importer from China, Chile, Belgium, Luxembourg, Colombia, France, Morocco, Mexico, Peru, USA, United Kingdom, Portugal or Poland, the delegation more nourished, with 25 companies, interested mostly in agri-food products. The local Chamber of Commerce recorded a total of 1,240 contacts.
Inaugurated by Francisco Conde, Counsellor of Economy and Industry, Xunta de Galicia (Autonomous Galician Government), and Carlos Negreira, Mayor of the City, at the open ceremony were also present Javier Carretero, general manager of the High Council of Chambers, and Marcelo Castro-Rial, president of the local cameral entity. After inviting the companies to continue delving into the quality, differentiation and innovation of its products, Castro-Rial said "days like today not only reinforce business fabric, they also promote Galicia as a brand".
